My core belief is that if you can help, you should.
Glenn Heights became our home in the spring of 2021, and it's a place where my family and I have found a sense of belonging. We've grown to love our community and city, and I'm committed to making it an even better place for all of us.
As a seasoned professional political operative, I've spent 15 years collaborating with candidates and elected officials across Texas. My influence has been felt in diverse races, from school boards to Congress. Beyond political endeavors, I've also significantly contributed to public policy, particularly advocating for our First Responders.
My experience extends beyond politics, including working on citizen referendums and other matters. In 2015, I helped lead a successful grassroots campaign in Arlington to ban red-light cameras. Despite initial doubts, we not only gathered more than enough signatures but also won the election with a resounding 60% of the vote. This experience and others have honed my ability to navigate the political landscape and cut through bureaucracy to get things done.
Throughout my career, I've been blessed to serve on numerous boards and committees and have worked to give back to the community, always looking to help citizens in need. From the police foundation, historical society, non-profits, and food drives during COVID-19 to help feed families, helping others is what drives me.
One of my passions in local government is ensuring our First Responders—police, fire, and EMS—have all they need to be comfortable in their jobs, know they are valued, and have the resources necessary to keep our community safe. I've worked with police and fire associations across Texas to ensure adequate funding to provide high-level service by qualified professionals.
In early 2022, I became active with the Stone Creek Homeowners Association. I saw a problem with landscaping and wanted to resolve it. I organized a group of concerned citizens, developed a call to action, applied pressure, and results followed. Fast-forward. The homeowners entrusted me to be their first elected Board Member and President.
I have built strong relationships at City Hall and with other community leaders through these efforts. Whenever a resident contacts me with a concern, I immediately work to find a solution and address the matter.
My core belief is that if you can help, you should. Whether learning about our city, volunteering with non-profits, supporting the community, or assisting a neighbor with a trash pickup, service is a fundamental part of who I am.
As your City Council Representative, I will bring a fresh perspective to the Council, underpinned by a solid foundation of knowledge about local government. Experience and desire matters. I have the experience and the desire to bring results for all our citizens.
