The Issues

  • Public Safety

Enhance public safety in Glenn Heights and ensure we are prepared for future growth. We need to prepare infrastructure and site plans for future police, fire, and emergency service needs. Our Firefighters need a pay adjustment to maintain our world-class talent. Their pay should be comparable to that of cities in the same budget cycle rather than a year behind.

  • Water & Utility Billing

We spent thousands of dollars and staff hours rolling out a new Utility Billing software and it’s left residents with a headache. Instead of testing it and having the kinks worked out before launch, the City is reacting and doing the residents a disservice. We need leadership to fix the problem and deliver a better product to the citizens.

  • Infrastructure

We are not prepared for the growth we are experiencing. We need a proactive council that gets a handle on roads and traffic, and presents a well throughout and executable plan to address our current demographics and the future. We needed a road bond three years ago to be prepared today. We are behind the demand.
